Gull
April 2012
This series, using mainly yellow, white and grey powders, is continuing my theme of looking at sea birds. With ‘Gull’ I am also investigating the local habitats of the birds, like the craggy cliffs of Caithness, as well as their colouration and movement. The featured image shows the same piece but in different lighting conditions to highlight the shifting patterns created in the powders.
